What I like:
1) Cracked.com - a really funny website that makes fun of movies and comics, etc.  It kept me very entertained while I suffered through Labor Day.  Great time waster (and I am the Queen of Wasting Time)!
2) Ponyo - There she is!  I found pics!  I'll admit, she's funnier-looking and more simple than I thought she would be, but I'm sure the movie is going to be adorable.  It's funny: I'm named after a Greek sea nymph and I love Finding Nemo and real sea creatures of all kinds, yet I can't swim.  A Japanese animated film about sea creatures may feature a mola mola!!!  I loved Spirited Away, and I still remember fondly how Tori and I were talking about My Neighbor Totoro in front of Daphne and she was like, "your neighbor, Totoro?"  I guess he is everyone's neighbor.  :)
3) That ogre thing in Pan's Labyrinth - my sister and I used to put our hands in front of our eyes just like that in imitation of him.  Scares the crap out of me, but I love watching him stumble across the screen with his saggy-stomach pouch, sans genitals.
4) PR - My faves are Leanne (Mousy Chick) and Kenley, but Kenley can really be a bitch!

What we (Amy and I) don't like: That Chips Ahoy commercial where the cookie is singing "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy" to a blond, then gets grabbed and eaten.  It has a haunting quality, doesn't it?  The cookies can be taken and killed at any time.  What really gets us, though, is the blond.  I think it's partly because she looks claymation-like (Amy hates claymation).  Who is she?  Did she intend to really kiss and have sex with a cookie (a singing cookie, but a cookie nonetheless)?  Why is she so small?  Can she be abducted and eaten, too?  (And no, I don't like Chips Ahoy cookies; I prefer my cookies soft, real, and baked!!!)
